Jacket Insulation and Valve with our Energy Jackets

Jacket Insulation

We provide jacket insulation which is used in various industrial sectors which we call as Energy Jackets. To prevent from heat/cold energy loss, this jacket insulation is used in various industrial sectors. Because of the appropriate thickness and thermal conductivity value, it protects leakage of energy loss and thus the machines work efficiently and profitable to company. Yashvant Industrialprovides customized proper fitting Jacket insulation for boiler, Air heater, Bag House etc. and various machinery items which can be easy to use and removal maintenance free. Non Asbestos Ceramic wool inside duly stitched with high temperature resistant cavalier threads which is designed as per shape of the dome to achieve the reduction in temp from 170 °c. Dome skin temperatureis 40°c. to 45°c. on the outer Surface of our Insulation and saves around 30% energy.

Furthermore,In our experience, we’ve seen more energy needlessly wasted through gate valves than any other type of valve.Below are the pictures of our removable insulation Jackets which we also call as Energy Jackets.

About Gate Valves Gate valves, also known as “sluice valves”, are very common valves seen in many piping systems. Gate valves are used to open up or close off the flow of water, oil, or other liquid. Typically constructed of metal like iron or steel, gate valves have a large exposed surface through which heat can radiate. Many facilities have rather large numbers of gate valves in use, resulting in massive energy loss in many instances.Insulating Gate Valves Gate valves may often require maintenance to prevent or troubleshoot such issues as jamming in open or closed position, rust and corrosion, and leaking. Typical maintenance tasks may include lubrication, cleaning, and replacing seats and other inner components. Due to the need for maintenance and the irregular shape of gate valves, traditional stay-in-place insulation is not practical, therefore requiring a removable product. Yashvant industries Gate Valve Insulation Jackets. Our removable Energy jackets for gate valves are the answer. Use this Valve Jackets and our estimate is that you can save very much by insulating your facility’s gate valves. Yashvant industries gate valve jackets have the following features:

  1. The Right Fit:
We can make jackets for just the bonnet or jackets to cover both the gate valve bonnet and body. Typically, customers prefer a our standard set of gate valve jackets, which includes one for the bonnet and one for the body; this enables easiest access to bonnet. The standard line of gate valve insulation jackets fit class 150 and class 300 valves, in sizes ranging from .5 NPT to 24 inches, with 3 choices of thickness (1/2”, 1”, and 2”) for temperature needs up to 600°c. We carry jackets for common valve makes including Crane, Nabco, Vela, Hammond, Sacco, and Stock ham. We may be also able to custom design insulation jackets to fit your specific needs.

  2. Convenient:
Our gate valve insulation jackets have Velcro straps and d-ring closures. Seal flaps are used to connect the removable jacket to the adjacent insulation. The jackets are very easy to remove and replace, and even inexperienced personnel can typically remove or replace the valve jackets in less than five minutes.

  3. Cost Effective:
The standard thickness of our insulation jackets is 1” – 2”, however we can make custom sizes as well. Our gate valve jackets typically produce a positive return on investment in less than a year, a very attractive payback period.

  4. High Quality:
yashvant industries insulation jackets set the standard for quality, and we back our valve jackets with an industry-leading 6 year warranty to prove we mean what we say.

Boiler Door Jacket Insulation

We regularly have to deal with Boiler and their doors. Boilers are large closed containers where liquids, commonly water, are heated for industrial use, generating power and various heating purposes. Each boiler is made of high-grade metal, often steel, iron, copper or brass. Most hot water and steam boilers for central heating in medium and large facilities have one or more doors. The job of boiler doors is to allow access inside the boiler, while still maintaining an airtight seal and full structural integrity of the boiler.

Some boiler doors may also require openings orports for ventilation, observation, or other needs. Types of boiler doors and covers we regularly encounter includes access doors, steam drum covers, and mud drum covers.Access doors are located in the front and or rear of the boiler;access doors are typically fire doors which allow personnel to access the interior of the boiler for inspection and maintenance.Steam drum covers are located at the top of a water-tube boiler; the steam drum is where dry, pure steam collects and is drawn off while the remaining water is passed back to the heat source. Problems with the steam drum causes, at the least, inefficient heat distribution and can also result in corrosion of the steam system or boiler malfunction. The steam drum cover allows inspection and maintenance for this vital component.Mud drum covers are located at the bottom of some boilers; the mud drum (sometimes called a “bottom drum”) captures impurities and sediment from the boiler water. The mud drum cover enables removal of this sludge. Insulating Boiler Doors and Drum Covers Boiler doors and covers all can reach rather hot surface temperatures. Surface temperatures may reach around 350°C in fire doors, 200°C in mud drum covers, and, for steam drums covers, the temperature of the pressurized steam which the drum contains. This presents a safety hazard for the workers at risk for coming into contact with these surfaces. In addition, a great deal of heat can radiate from boiler doors and cover, resulting in wasted energy. Boiler access doors and drum covers all require regular use, making permanent insulation that would extend past these components unrealistic. Fire doors often have fire brick or other insulation in the interior but may still have unacceptable surface temperatures. In our experience, boiler drum covers are typically not insulated at all. Some covers utilize cementations insulation. Many applications of cement insulation from the 1970s or earlier contain asbestos and are not safe. In addition, cementations insulation cracks and deteriorates over time, and is especially prone to damage when workman open and close the covers for maintenance. Well-suited for components requiring regular maintenance, removable insulation covers can provide an excellent solution for the safety and efficiency issues without inhibiting functionality or maintenance needs.Boiler Door Insulation has strong capabilities insulating the doors and drum covers of many boilers including sectional cast iron boilers, scotch marine boilers, shell boilers, fire tube boilers, and water tube boilers. Our capabilities in removable insulation are diverse, but our products have a few things in common:

  1. The Right Fit:
We produce covers to exact fit for your specific boiler door and cover needs. In addition, we can design custom boiler insulation “panels” for many applications.

  2. Convenient:
Our insulation jackets are designed to be able to be removed and replaced easily and quickly by any personnel. They typically use a simple closure system of Velcro and D-rings.

  3. Cost effective:
We’ll provide the jackets that are compatible with your needs and device. We typically utilize 1” fiberglass for boiler insulation, but we can tailor design, materials, and thickness to your needs. Being able to buy exactly the jacket you need means you don’t have to pay for un-needed insulation.

  4. High Quality:
Our jackets are painstakingly designed and crafted to remain effective under harsh conditions for extended periods of time. As with all Yashvant industries Jackets, we stand behind our removable boiler insulation with a 5 year guarantee.
